The Gallery - Sport

Like their father, my two youngest boys are absolutely sport mad.  If they are not playing sport, they are watching it.  There are balls everywhere in the house and the garden; football, rugby, baseball, tennis and cricket.  The last month has been heaven for them; Euro 2012 followed by the Olympics.

Whilst there are occasions where the balls and the constant conversations about fixtures and matches do get a little too much for me, I am thrilled that they love sport.  It keeps them fit, it keeps them healthy (well with the exception of rugby) and keeps them out of trouble and if one or both of them ends up playing football in the Premiership, it will keep mummy very happy.

This post was written in response to a prompt for The Gallery on Tara Cain's brilliant blog Sticky Fingers if you want to see more pop on over and have a look.

  2. I think loving sport is not a bad thingbst all if it means children actively participate , as you said it keeps them fit and out in the fresh air. Great selection of photos x
