Happy Monkey Smoothies Review

We love smoothies in this house.  In fact the children would probably drink them all the time if they could.  They are an amazing way of getting kids to have and try different fruits and I know that the boys would never eat certain fruits that they often drink happily in smoothies.

We were sent a sample of Happy Monkey smoothies to try.  Happy Monkey Smoothies are available in two varieties; strawberry and banana and orange and mango.  They come in little pouches with a straw and they are ideal for lunch boxes, travelling or picnics as they keep fresh at room temperature for up to twelve hours. Each 180ml carton is the equivalent of one portion of fruit.

The smoothies have been designed with kids in mind as not only are they sugar, sweetener and preservative free, there are no bits in them which is a definite advantage with my children.

Happy Monkey Smoothies include ethically sourced fruit from Rainforest Alliance certified farms and the cartons are widely recyclable and have a low carbon profile.

So what did my little monkeys think of them?  They loved them.  The cartons are lightweight and easy for little hands.  R absolutely loved the orange and mango flavour and asked if I was going to buy more of them. L and A preferred the strawberry and banana flavour, but in three days, all eight cartons had been drunk, so it is safe to say that they were popular.

Happy Monkey smoothies come in packs of four 180ml cartons and are available from Sainsbury's, Asda, Waitrose, Nisa, Booths and Dunnes in Ireland plus online from Ocado.

We will definitely be buying some more of these smoothies and highly recommend them.
