360° Junior Anyway Up Cup Review

One thing that has driven me mad during my years as a parent is cups.  Leaky cups, cups with so many parts that I can't put them back together and normal cups that get knocked over.  We live in a three storey house, which has many advantages, but having a living room upstairs has meant that I have hung on to toddler cups for a lot longer than usual to try and avoid those little 'accidents' that inevitably occur.

A is three now and can drink really well from a normal cup, however, I do still try and use toddler cups and beakers when she is upstairs so that her ball obsessed brothers aren't constantly spilling her drinks.  The lovely people from Haberman offered to send me one of their Anyway Up cups to try, so we chose the  360° Junior and put it through its paces.  This is what they say about the 360° Junior:

"The original revolutionary 360° Junior beaker features an innovative circular valve system, that with gentle sipping allows toddlers to drink from anywhere around the rim.
The cup helps develop the final stages of drinking independence, so before long they’ll be drinking from a proper cup - just like mummy and daddy."

I have to say that I have been very impressed.  The idea of the cup is very simple and it feels like you are drinking from a normal cup.  A was a little confused the first time she drank from it, but once she got the hang of it, it is now her favourite cup.  I love the fact that it is not a 'baby' cup, yet if it gets knocked over, it does not leak.  Yes, it does not leak.  That makes it a winner with me and I have even tried tipping it upside down and shaking it and nothing comes out at all.  Washing it up isn't a problem either as it is very simple to take apart and then pushes simply back together too.

The cups are suitable for children aged 24 months and over and come in red, blue and green.  The only disadvantage is that there isn't a pink one (according to A anyway!).  We liked the cup a lot and would definitely recommend them.

We were sent a 360 Junior cup free of charge for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are entirely our own.

  1. We have been reviewing this and I'm really impressed too. I even shook it to see if water would come spilling out! :)

  2. I've never had sippy cups or beakers with my boys, they went from boob/bottle straight to a cup, with all the spills and accidents necessary along the way (they're still only allowed drinks in the kitchen now!), but I have used haberman for all 4 of them, in bottle format.

They make the best anti colic bottles I've ever used and Mandy Haberman invented other similar revolutionary cups and feeders.

There was the originally anywayupcup about 10 years ago, anti colic bottles, teats for cleft palettes and this one which looks like a doidy cup that was invented for children with disabilities but was a massive hit with children transitioning from sippy to regular cup.

Genius invention, and I suspect if my kitchen on a different floor to my lounge, I'd be using one too!
