We are a bit of a Lego obsessed house and even though we already have far, far too much, it seems that it is never enough. Those clever old people at Lego just bringing out new sets and my boys just have to have them. R already has a couple of the smaller sets of The Hobbit Lego and so he was completely overwhelmed by this box of loveliness.
This half term hasn't been the most exciting as A has been poorly and R has been recovering from being ill the week before, so the two boys were quite pleased to have something nice to play with. R is the chief Lego builder. L still doesn't have the patience to build the bigger sets, so he has the job of building the characters and the animals, whilst R works his way through the instructions.
The set as always with Lego, was fairly easy to put it together. R is nine and he can now put sets together on his own and he managed to do most of it without a huge amount of help. The instructions are in the form of a book and each page contains the next step in the building process.
When R's big brother O arrived, he couldn't resist joining in. He has always loved Lego and very reluctantly gave all of his Lego to his brothers a couple of years ago. However, he can often be found foraging through the Lego boxes putting together little scenes and rebuilding sets. He was very impressed with this set as he is also a huge fan of The Hobbit.
All of the boys were really pleased with the end result and have really enjoyed playing with it over the last couple of days. The lovely thing about these sets is that you can combine them with other sets from The Hobbit range or other sets of general Lego and recreate some great battles.
Attack of the Wargs definitely got a big thumbs up from all the Lego loving boys in this house.
This Lego set; Attack of the Wargs (79002) is part of a range of Lego toys from Argos and there are a number of other sets from The Hobbit available too.
I received this Lego set from Argos free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions and images are my own.

Wow you have been getting some serious good boy reviews. This looks fab - my boys would love this.
